Heart-failure patients can exercise safely

Christopher O’Connor, M.D., director of the Duke Heart Center, is featured in a story about his research that appeared on the front page of Wednesday’s The News & Observer.
The research, reported at the American Heart Association conference, show that people with heart failure can safely exercise.
“We were very pleased, first and foremost, to see the safety,” he said.
