Media Spotlight: CBS Evening News highlights brain tumor vaccine research

This story highlights Duke research that shows a new vaccine for the aggressive brain cancer glioblastoma can add two years to a patient's survival.

John Sampson, M.D., Ph.D., professor of neurosurgery, said, "It educates the immune system to produce antibodies, or magic bullets, that really go and find the tumor and help the immune system attack the tumor very specifically."
