In this video Perri Morgan, Ph.D., PA-C, director of Physician Assistant research at the Duke PA Program, talks about her research that shows PAs are choosing specialties over primary care.
“The number of PAs in primary care increased by 40 percent, but at the same time the number of PAs in subspecialties, surgical and medical subspecialties increased by about 200 percent,” she said.
