Media Spotlight: WRAL features Duke research on heart disease survival

This story is based on a Duke study that found a positive outlook might increase a person's chances of surviving heart disease.
Redford Williams, M.D., director of the Behavioral Medicine Research Center, professor of behavioral psychiatry and co-author of the study, said: "It's not just a question of being, you know, a cockeyed optimist here. It's a question of being optimistic, and it may really make a difference."
