Media Spotlight: WRAL features Duke research on stroke centers

This story and video highlight a Duke study that shows access to designated stroke centers can save patients' lives.
Ying Xian, M.D., a fellow with the Duke Clinical Research Institute and lead author of the study, said, "Patients who are treated at stroke centers (could have) at least 2.5 percent lower risk of death than other patients in non-certified hospitals."
