Media Spotlight: WRAL highlights Duke and DRH’s care for H1N1 patient

A man with H1N1 hospitalized at Duke and Durham Regional Hospital for 80 days will spend Christmas at home thanks to the care he received. Doctors gave him nictric oxide, a gas in the blood that opens blood vessels so oxygen can reach body tissues like the heart and lungs.
