Nurses Week begins; Duke events abound

National Nurses Week is here, and Duke University Hospital, Durham Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital will host several activities May 6-12 to recognize nurses’ outstanding contributions to health care.

Activities include blessing of the hands, a speech by national presenter Kristin Baird, RN, on “Reclaiming Your Personal Passion for Nursing,” and an all day celebration in the Searle Center for DUH nurses.
