With the help of volunteers from GE Aviation, Durham Rehabilitation Institute held a "Paint Fest" for patients.
In February, GE Aviation sponsored a "Paint Fest" for patients of Durham Rehabilitation Institute at Durham Regional Hospital. Durham Rehabilitation Institute is a 30-bed inpatient unit that specializes in short-term rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury and total joint replacements.
At the afternoon event, GE employees and institute staff helped rehabilitation patients create colorful canvases.
