Ramseur gets Duke North OR post
posted August 19th, 2008Priscilla Ramseur has been named administrative director for the Duke North Operating Rooms, effective Sept. 1.
Her new responsibilities will include the operating rooms, perianesthesia care units, OR scheduling, perioperative patient and visitor liaison, perfusion services, and perioperative clinical nurse educator.
Ramseur has served in various roles within perioperative services at Duke Hospital for the past 20 years. She began her career as a staff nurse in the operating rooms and worked as the clinical nurse educator. Most recently, she was clinical operations director for the Duke Eye Center. She has been serving as the interim clinical operations director for the Duke North ORs since March 2008.
Ramseur received her BSN from N.C. Central University in Durham. She received her MSN and post-master’s certificate in nursing and healthcare administration from Duke.
