Section of new concourse opens, draws positive feedback
posted February 12th, 2010The new concourse from Duke Clinic to Duke Hospital opened Monday, Feb. 8, and since then staff, patients and visitors have enjoyed walking through the new indoor section of the concourse.
Patient service associate, Maxine Jones, greeted everyone with a smile and a friendly hello Monday morning. She is positioned in the new concourse area in Duke Clinic to help navigate you through the new route.
Maps are available to help you, as are signs and Patient Information Services personnel positioned along the route.
The best way to get to Duke Hospital is to follow the main corridors, moving to the north end of Duke Clinic (Red line on map) to the new concourse. The concourse can also be accessed from the Morris Cancer Center Entrance (Yellow line on map).
The concourse leads to the walkway to Duke Hospital. Use the same route in reverse if you need to return to Duke Clinic.
