Workshop will offer tips on how to pay for college

Sarita Broadway of the College Foundation of N.C. will lead a college financing workshop from 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Teer House on North Roxboro St.

She will discuss the cost of paying for a college education and point out strategies for reaching the goal.

According to one recent study, more than 45 percent of parents could not estimate the cost of college for their 11-17 year-old children.
